Raw & Unfiltered Book Design
Book design is the art of incorporating the content, style, format, design, and sequence of the various components of a book into a coherent whole. Design
We had the pleasure of designing the first printed anthology for an online literary journal, Feminine Collective. Marla Carlton, one of the principals FROM HERE, was also an editor for the book, and selected and named the sections of the book.
Development
We created a template for the printed anthology to be used in future anthologies. We also created a template for the eBook. All in all, the Feminine Collective: Raw & Unfiltered: Vol. 1, Selected Essays and Poems on Relationships with Self & Others project took approximately four weeks from start to finish. The deliverables were ensuring that the book was available for purchase on Amazon, in both printed or eBook form, as well as on Barnes & Noble’s website. The anthology includes 99 essays and poems gathered into a 375 page book.
Book Launch Party
FROM HERE also assisted the selected PR firm in planning the successful book launch party here in Los Angeles.
Other Services
We also provided book consulting services which included attaining an ISBN, registering the book with the Library of Congress, and submitting the book into the best categories on Amazon and other third party providers.
